	Notes for those considering undergoing psychoanalysis
	How to apply to the Psychoanalytic Centers

•Application
Contact either the Tokyo or Fukuoka Center (see below) depending on your location. Fill in our designated form and mail or fax it to the respective center. You can also go to the web page, "Information - Contact - Treatment", fill out the designated form and e-mail it as an attached file. Include a letter of recommendation if your doctor has recommended our center.

•Questionnaire
On receipt of your application form, we will send you a detailed questionnaire. Fill in the required information and send it back to the center. (This procedure is not required in the case of Fukuoka Psychoanalytic Center.)

•Assessment Interview
An interview will be arranged for applicants to find out whether or not psychoanalysis will benefit you. Certified psychoanalysts will conduct the interviews.

•Recommendation
When it is found that psychoanalysis will be useful, a member specialist will be recommended to you, after taking various conditions into consideration.

•Rates

•Assessment interviews:	10,000yen/session (about 50 minutes)
•Therapy sessions (standard):	Certified psychoanalysts: 6,000yen to 20,000yen/session (45 or 50 minutes) Candidates for psychoanalysts: 3,000yen or higher/session (45 or 50 minutes)

Note: The difference in rates reflects the local economy and is mainly due to the experience and proficiency of the individual that takes on the sessions. Our Psychoanalytic Center is not a medical institution but a consultation agency for psychoanalysis, and health insurances will not cover the services provided.
